Nothing much to say.

Anyways, got tagged by JiaYu and Victor.....

Random rantings on my rather routine life + more...

Well, not so routine maybe......

Today, went to the finals of  the ...
3rd ASEAN International Chopin Piano Competition
One word, after watching the finalists perform......................~~ breathtaking.
Each of them were all superbly wonderful in their playing..... very hard to distinguish between the good and the best. All were wonderful, and very young. Even though the competition was broken up into age groups, the participants for the junior category (primary sch age kids), played pieces that was far far beyond what I could manage..... Wow.... But some of the pieces they choose were very long and too soothing, that I dozed off more than three times.... (shows how good they are.... )=p (recordings were strictly prohibited, so can't show some pictures or vids) =c

One of the many pieces a lot of them played(love this piece. very nice.):

I dunno if any of them played 'til this perfect, but you get an idea how not-easy the piece is....

Anyways, after that...... I went shopping at the newest shopping mall in kl----- the Pavillion. Of course, with................................... my mom.... =p haha..... Just window shopping actually, since all the stores there sold branded goods ONLY---looking at stuff with horrifying price tags, pretending to try on some shoes that you know you'd never buy unless you win a lottery, even the food there was expensive (for a m'sian).... RM 9 for some char siew fan =O  (Don't compare with Sg. It will seem rather cheap)
Hypothesis: Rolex is an extremely expensive brand.
Observation: The store has 2 security guards (which will only let you in after some heavy scrutiny), plus, the storekeepers never take their eyes off you the moment you enter...
Conclusion: Hypothesis is correct. Rolex is an extremely extremely expensive brand.....
XD

Some pics from my phone.....
The first view u get after entering The Pavillion

Nice chandelier...... guess what its made of?

plastic water bottles. cool huh?

3 traffic lights of different height in case u aren't tall or short enough to see it

Well, that's all from today. Oh, did I mention that Microsoft Word CRASHED just when i finished doing my chinese article review? And, I was smart enough NOT to have saved it before. I spent a whole damned 2 hours doing that damned homework, now irretrievable. So now, I'll have to re-do that piece of crap. Great. Sooooooooo looking forward to that. (hint of sarcasm. No, not a hint actually, just plain sarcasm).

Well, i seriously have to sleep earlier...... and be more focused...... and enjoy my holidays more..... and use my computer less....... and excersice more..... and................
...
Never mind.
Ciao,
Da Niao.........crap,its2am.......again.....

ps. i need to get up earlier than 1pm.
pps. to do that i need to sleep earlier than 3 am.
ppps. much much much earlier.
pppps. love my new blogskin. (not much of a change though)

Breaking Hiatus.......

Haha..... been lazy to blog this week. Sigh..... Slacking the whole 1st week of holiday away by doing the 2 things that i do best. My daily schedule: sleep->eat->nap->eat->sleep->eat->sleep, and maybe squeeze in some homework time somewhere..... haha...... (i just found out how wonderful it is to love eating and not needing to worry about your weight..... actually, i need to gain a few more kilos)

Its exactly one week after our choir concert, which was fun and great, although there were slips here and there, especially in the last part of "kiss the girl". But overall, i think the whole choir did a wonderful job and had lots of fun. Thanks to the WONDERFUL(i'm being sarcastic) audience, we had to do 3 times encore. Haha. well, visit other choir members blogs to see pictures and write-ups on the concert, I won't say much about it.

After choir concert, was a whole day of packing. Whoa!? Didn't know i had sooooooooo many stuff, until i started putting them into boxes. Its not a fun thing to do. Not at all. Well, after, uhmmmm, many many hours of hauling stuff out of drawers, squeezing them into boxes, then sitting on the boxes to tape the damn opening of the box, i managed to clear my section of the room. I slept with nothing on the bed save a naked pillow and a naked bed. =p ........

That night, we (Me, Loong, Mr Oh, and some other ppl) went to send Adari, Vinay, and Dhimas off....... and had dinner at bk there. and since i did not have any breakfast and lunch, i ordered the bk triple stacker.... mmmmmmm..... so fulfilling. Adari was courageous enough to order the quad stacker. My goodness, it is sooooooo thick. So damn hard to take one bite without stretching your jaws. Takes some skill to eat it and still look civilised. Haha..... In the end, adari gave up finishing it and asked if i still could eat somemore. I gladly offered my help.... =p Then, when we were feeling all bloated, Mr Oh came in. He ordered the quad stacker and guess what he said..... "Huh? So small ar? I expected it to be much bigger. And I paid 11 bucks for this?" And the rest of us were like... "Buuuurrrrpp...... you call that small? Small compared to your muscles lah....." Haha. he finished the whole damn burger with great ease, hands down. So thats where his muscles come from..... =p

Well, just finished some wonderful ol' home cooked, non-victoria-hall, yummy m'sian dinner. Haha. Nth worth watching on tv nowadays... Global recession must have hit the tv stations hard. Some channels here are just airing old shows that i've seen at least twice... Ah, crap! just remembered. Haven't done this week's and last week's jian bao. And i still have 20 more jian baos to do. Isn't lcs wonderful? hahaha........

Well, better start sometime soon. Then go i'll have supper after that........ =D

Enjoy your holidays!!!

gotta change my blog skin soon. tis' so boring.

1.30 am. Monday. 3 days to go, then i'll be back home. As in my real home. Not this home away from home (vh)......... Ah. I should be sleeping. Choir full dress rehearsal starts at 9 tomorrow. Hope I don't fall asleep. .....

Haven't blogged since the horrible days of the CL "o" lvl paper. Haha. Can't describe to you how ecstatic i was after it. I think i screwed up. (Somehow when i say that, the results always come out not too bad =p). Hoping for the best. Well, that afternoon after the paper, i was so hyper. Ask yao tian. Suddenly a burden lifted. Ah, i'm sure you know that feeling. Well, I haven't even touched my holiday homework yet, all thanks to choir, while some of the other scholars who are not in choir plan to finish their homework before they return. A very noble idea indeed, nevertheless one that i don't think i'll be able to achieve. Talking about choir, YES! I've finished learning how to play the "Sunny Side of The Street" that the girls are singing. After 1 week plus, i finished learning that stupid song AT LAST! Sigh. Well, the piece wasn't as tough as I first imagined it to be, just need practice. Practice makes perfect. Haha. One of the many wise sayings of my dad.

Ah, tomorrow today ( Monday ) Mr oh is bringing all us (the scholars) out at 8 to watch madagascar. FOR FREE. Yay...... haha. Such a nice teacher mentor. He didn't kill us when he found out that we all skipped school on friday (except loong, vivie and some of the prc's), but threatened to do so if there is a next time. Haha. We all thought that we were gonna be dead when we found out that he knew.

Just can't get the fact that I'll be back in Malaysia in a few days time out of my mind. (and for the 8765434435467787675th time), I can't wait to go back!!!!!!!! (not that I hate or dislike Singapore.)

Oh. Nick Vuijicic came to our church today. FYI, he's a 26 yr old guy, born without arms and feet, and has motivated and impacted many people's life, talked with presidents, PMs and kings, and is devoted to God. His website is http://lifewithoutlimbs.org . check it out. He's a cool guy, very motivating and encouraging. One thing  he said that stuck to my mind was "God used me, a person without arms and legs, to be His hands and feet...." Set me thinking about my walk with God and my life. "If you've asked for a miracle, but God is not changing that circumstance in your life, that means that God will use that circumstance in your life to bless and impact others."

Yawn...... Okay. Enough talking. Better sleep. Tomorrow after choir must start packing already. My room is a total chaotic mess. Well, who cares? XD

1.50 am. time to sleep already. seriously.
See y'all,
Da Niao..................zzzzzzzzzz..........

3 days bfore cl 'O' lvl ppr and guess what? Im blogging.

Ah. Felt like blogging, despite it being 3 days away from CL O LVL PAPER!!!!!
SO, here I am...... sigh. Wasted my whole weekend. Should have been studying. But what did I do? Went out to have a sushi buffet with my juniors that lasted the whole saturday afternoon. Then? This morning, went to ecp to do some surveying for some Asean Comm stuff about some activity that we are organising for the juniors sometime soon. (To be exact, this saturday.)

Oh, Me and dhimas helped some people fix their bike. Apparently, their bike's chain was stuck. So, Dhimas, being such a helpful person, went to try to help, and I joined him sometime later. The group of friends who's bike was having problems were conversing in malay, thinking that me and dhimas couldn't understand. So, after we fixed their bike(wasn't a major problem actually, just some tugging at the bike chain fixed it), they said thank you, and one of them offered: Do u ......erm......want a kain to ....uhh......wipe ur hands? (kain = cloth in malay) then one of their friends said: "Not kain lah. Cloth." But me and dhimas understood either way. When we headed back, NC said it would be damn funny if the two of u(me and dhimas) suddenly started conversing in malay...... haha. =p

Well, there goes one weekend, where I thought I would confine myself to Victoria Hall and mug. Haha. Mugging and I do not go well. We just detest each other. Always make up my mind to mug, but in the end ended up doing something else. I am definitely not the quintessence of self-dicipline. (haha. new word i learnt: quintessence)Sigh. Sigh. Sigh. Feel guilty now. Ah, but I definitely had an enjoyable time.

On the bright side, its merely 11 days till I'll be breathing some good ol' m'sian air!!!! Yippieee. I've said this previously, and i'll say it again. I CAN"T WAIT TO GO BACK TO M'SIA!!!! .......=] Have been thinking a lot about what i'll do when i get back to m'sia, and the last thing on my list is definitely mugging, even though mrs ong thinks we should be doing exactly that. Well, sadly, temasek teachers are shrewd enough to give us enough homework to make sure that we come into contact with our textbooks throughout the holiday. What is a holiday to temasekians without some holiday homework right? =p

I'm lucky though, some other scholars from other schools only get to go back for like, 2 weeks, throughout the holiday. Mainly due to cca commitments. Soooo thankful that choir is not as crazy as that. Talking about choir, there's a concert next wednesday, and I can't wait for that day to be over. Then my Sec 3 life in Singapore will officially 圆满结束. Then, the real holiday starts. Yeah!

Okay. I think i'm focusing on the wrong thing now. Should be thinking more about my chinese. Aaaargh!wait. Just remembered. Tomorrow got physics spa...... Uh oh...... not even mentally prepared.

Never mind. I slept in the afternoon. So can afford to sleep a wee bit later tonight.

Well, that's all for today. Better mug some more. =]

Back to mugging,
Da Niao.......i"LOVE"chinese.......

P.s, hope i didn't sound too pissed off in my last post, cuz i wasn't =}
