Quarrantine Day 2

The sun was shining, the birds were singing, the flowers were dancing in the breeze -- it was the perfect day.
Okay, maybe it wasn't. There weren't really any birds, not many flowers were to be seen, and it was actually rather cloudy. But However, (hehe, trying to use good accurate English here....)uhh.... yeah. However, It still seemed like the perfect day for me. I woke up early in the morning at 11.00 am to my handphone's singing. Upon realising that it was a schoolday, guess what I did? I went back to sleep.

Haha. Gotcha right there huh? But yeah, That's what I did. (I actually woke up at 10, but i wrote eleven to make it sound more dramatic.... ), but never mind that. So the truth is, I was quarantined. Contracted some cough on friday night, thought it was nothing at first, but it got worse the next day and before I knew it, my temperature was thirty-eight point something. The first thing that came to my mind was something along the lines of "Uh-oh", and the next thing was "Oh no! I spent the whole of Friday night with my dad hacking and coughing blithely away." So after calling my mom, who was in KL, I called my dad, who was in SG returning to KL, while waiting -- for quite a long time indeed -- in line at the clinic and notified him of my condition. He said the same thing nearly everyone told me. "Keep me updated." Great. Now I have a long contact list of "People To Update About My Health Condition". Ah well, I supposed he was just doing his job as a dad. =p

Of course, I notified Mr Oh right after that, and he informed me of a few procedures that I needed to see through, and one thing led to another, and i was quarrantined. In the girls block. Why the girls block you ask? Well, for those who do not live in Victoria Hall, VH is overpopulated by Males, mainly because the Victoria School scholars are staying here, and as you all know, VS has a slight majority of males in its population.

As of right now, apart from the constant hacking and the intense discomfort in my throat, I'm fine. By the looks of it, tomorrow will be the last day of my quarrantine, or segregation, or isolation, or holiday, however you want to call it. I've been trying to make full use of my time here, but *ahem*......... Well, Thomas Edison failed 999 times before successfully making the first light bulb, maybe I'm just on "the road to success".

Ah. Who am I kidding? One whole day was wasted lazing around, watching movies on the internet...... Well, at least I'm recuperating, and I'm enjoying myself.

My dad says blogging is good for the soul, but the fact that he barely knows how to open his own blog (that has nothing on it, i think), makes me doubt the crediblity of that statement. Nevertheless, he's still my dad. We had a great time out on Friday night, and (despite my intermittent coughs) we had a great chat (and a mouth-watering, lip-smacking dinner at Nihon-mura which left me sated and satisfied).

I really think I should get back to doing something productive now. Or at least attempting doing so. Don't be expecting me to blog so often now that Prelims are looming up ahead.

Cheers,
DL........ *cough**hack*cough*
